Turns out this is one fancy pants restaurant. The funny thing? The boys were much more calm / cool / collected (aka, not running from table to table or trying to climb out the window) than most places we go to eat - even the places with a play pit. Of course they have to have expensive taste - figures.

Fancy dinner
Our boys seem to be getting more active by the second. They're also getting sweeter, more outgoing, funnier (and they say they're funny), and smarter - to the point they can work a situation. This evening Matt picked me up after work because an all day offsite went very over. When he picked me up it was already very passed dinner time so we tried to find an easy local place to duck into. We found Palace Kitchen:

Heads or penis
Kids really do say the funniest things. Today Matt was trying to teach the boys about coins telling them "this is a penny, this is a nickle, this is a quarter, this is a dime ..." Then he started showing "heads and tails." Wilson got a bit confused between the coin types and heads vs. tails and wound up saying "this is a nickle" (then flipping it over) "and this is a penis."
I haven't laughed so hard in months. I think that while kids, toddlers especially, add years to your life almost daily, they also take years off with the joy and laughter they incite.

To buy: hot yoga gear
I have recently been loving hot yoga. The one problem is I feel like it comes with a new lineup of gear requirements. Here's what I checked out:
Yoga towels:
Sounds kind of funny, right? A bathroom towel should double as a yoga towel - that's what I thought anyhow. Then, my first class, all the Lululemon clad Queen Anne women were sporting perfect yoga outfits and accessories including yoga towels, headbands, and more. Here are a couple I checked out:
The YogaRat 100% Microfiber Yoga towel
Then there's the mat. I've had a yoga mat since college - one that I loved. Now it's covered in dust and even a little mold (yikes!) from moving and bad storage (shows what a long hiatus I took from yoga). Matt's are expensive. I wound up buying a YogaAccessories Yoga Mat
Here's my ideal little kit:

Weekend roundup - rain/sun/rain
It's in-betweener weather time here in Seattle with rain spells in the morning and then sun from 6pm to about 9pm (not awesome for bedtime). This weekend was a weekend of twindom - we went to two parks both Saturday and Sunday, two markets, and on two "drive abouts" to mellow out at naptime. We also enjoyed the beach with our SF transplant buddies and the boys' new favorite toddler girl, Sasha.
