Money Saver Monday: Get a side with that
A big money saver is not to eat out at all and learn to cook economically (i.e. with Trader Joe's goods instead of Whole Foods). When the dinner bell brings you to a restaurant, though, a great trick to make the meal stretch and save a buck or two is to get a size - instead of getting a small get the large portion and add the $1.00 salad. Then, make sure to eat half or less and save the rest for another meal (or two)! Restaurants always pile on way too much food and it's rarely good to clear the plate when eating out, so this money saver is a bit of a gut saver, too.
